Marikeshlavash "Kesh" Glinteye is the son of the Sultan of Jewels. As such, he trained from an early age to be a gemcutter and businessman. While training, Kesh found that gems also contained magical properties, specifically that he could use them to draw out his own magic power and store effects in them for later use. He left his home in an effort to travel the world and collect gems from all over, so that he might derive more power from them. In combat, he tosses gems infused with magic to cause explosions and other various effects. Later on, he learns how to use his magic-infused gems to enhance armor and weapons. As such, his clothing and gear is always set with a myriad of gems. He eventually gains control of his Father's trade empire, and uses its power and resources in order to brace his country for oncoming doomsday. He is marked down in history as the first Hero-Emperor of Thar (his country)
